Mommy Review: BeautyMNL: Mini Make-up & Skincare Haul

I was once asked to describe myself in one word.  And I answered: BUSY.

I try to juggle motherhood, wife duties, a full time workload and couple rakets on the side — on a daily basis. It’s a good kind of busy and most of the time, I’d feel I can do it all but sometimes I honestly don’t. That’s why I welcome anything that spells TIME-SAVING and CONVENIENT.

And that’s exactly what I discovered Beauty MNL to be.

THEY GOT YOU COVERED

As I’m still breastfeeding (20 months, yey!), I’ve been meaning to get some natural skin care products but just couldn’t find the time to go to the mall. Good thing, BeautyMNL has a wide array of beauty products ranging from make ups, skin and hair care essentials even accessories. And everything is readily available at your fingertips! Ahh, the convenience of online shopping.

BeautyMNL both have best sellers and local brands and recently added K-beauty cult favorites so you wouldn’t run of options whatever your preference or skin type might be.

I initially got overwhelmed with all the products (there’s more than 300 to choose from) but another thing that I liked about BeautyMNL was their REVIEW section where customers give feedback on the products they purchased and used. I was able to check their best rated products and based from there what might work well for my skin needs.

WHAT I GOT

I placed my order on a Friday (got a sweet deal with their free delivery promo, yey again!) and since they don’t deliver on weekends, got my package by Monday afternoon. I paid via credit card but they have a number of payment options too (COD, bank transfer, etc.)

I got this since it’s all-natural and claims to purify and clarify skin using apple cider vinegar. I’ve always wanted to try APV and this soap would just be perfect for my dull skin (I’ve been wary of using facial cleansers since most have chemicals not suitable for breastfeeding moms like me).

Picked this one as well because I also wanted to safely whiten my complexion (sorry, I’m  really being vain hahaha). It got really nice reviews and claims to eliminate dark spots, blemishes, and dullness of the skin on the face and all over the body.

Yes, you read that right. 80 freaking pesos! hahaha! I got this as an after-thought, partly because of my Kdrama obsession. Lip and cheek stains are pretty big in Korea and I’d like to try going for that fresh “powder and lip/cheek tint lang” kinda look. I wish lol. But seriously, it’s super cheap and is one of their bestsellers with over 866 reviews. It’s also organic so I willingly added this baby to my cart as well.

There’s a swatch guide but since I’ve always been a red lippie girl, it’s a no brainer that I got the shade Christmas Red.

I’ve been using these 3 for a couple of weeks now and will post a review of each soon.

Overall, my first BeautyMNL experience was easy, fast and seamless. There was no glitch — the oil blend was securely wrapped in bubble wrap and I got my haul in good condition. I’ll definitely order from them again.

Have you tried shopping at BeautyMNL too? I’d love to hear how it went and if you have any holy grail products you can share. 🙂

P.S. This is not a sponsored post.
